We recently concluded a productive 4-day workshop held at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona from December 2-5, bringing together members of the research teams in Bordeaux, Barcelona, Bucharest and Québec to reflect on progress so far and to prepare the next phase of our work. The meeting focused on the transition from WP2 to WP3. A substantial part of the sessions were dedicated to conducting test analyses and discussing the typology and application of the holístic model. In addition, we discussed in depth how to design the experiments planned for WP3, which will be carried out at institutions that were actively involved in WP2.
A shared understanding emerged that, in order to move forward successfully, all partners must interpret the typology and the pilot model in the same way. To support this common understanding, participants agreed on the importance of developing a shared glossary, which will serve as a reference point throughout WP3.
Finally, the workshop reaffirmed that the experiments in WP3 will be context- and sector-specific. They will be designed in close collaboration with institutional actors, with the aim of implementing good practices wherever feasible. This collaborative and flexible approach will allow the project to respond to real-world conditions while staying true to its overarching research framework.
We look forward to the next steps and to continuing this joint effort as we move into WP3.
