On 25 September 2023, the legal team of the UNDETERRED project met in Bordeaux to discuss research progress and plan the continuation of their work in the months ahead. The meeting provided an opportunity to share updates on the situation in each of the participating countries, in order to identify points of convergence and divergence to be taken into account as the research moves forward. Foundations were laid for the definition of key concepts, working tools were discussed, and preparations for the Barcelona conference were set in motion.
