On 26 January 2026, a workshop connected to the UNDETERRED project was held in Bordeaux as part of the WOTO – Working Together Against Racism and Sexism European Bootcamp. The session was facilitated by Lydia Boudlal (URHAJ Nouvelle-Aquitaine) and Hachem Benissa (University of Bordeaux).
Organised within the framework of the WOTO – Working Together Against Racism and Sexism, coordinated by Co-action, the bootcamp brought together young people and youth workers from France, Belgium, Spain, and Italy for an intensive programme dedicated to anti-discrimination, collective empowerment, and creative methods.
The UNDETERRED workshop offered participants an opportunity to explore systemic discrimination through interactive discussions, concrete examples, and participatory exchanges. The session focused on how inequalities emerge in everyday situations and institutional contexts, often in unintentional ways, and how these mechanisms affect young people’s life trajectories.
By creating a safe and inclusive space for dialogue and critical reflection, the workshop contributed to raising awareness of systemic discrimination and to identifying possible avenues for collective action, in line with UNDETERRED’s broader objectives of making invisible forms of discrimination visible and actionable.
