On 9 October 2023, the UNDETERRED Horizon Europe team organised the conference “Why do refugees stay or onward migrate from Romania towards Western Europe? The case of refugees from Ukraine and the Middle East”, delivered by our colleague Anatolie Coșciug, researcher at the University of Bucharest.

Anatolie Coșciug holds a PhD and is an associate professor in sociology, and director of the Romanian Centre for Comparative Migration Studies. His research focuses on migration to and from Romania and related phenomena.
